The last lake impounded in Texas, according to the news, was more than 30-years ago. How have things in fishing and fly fishing changed since then? This is one lake that will be explored and revealed through modern (as of 2024) social media means - from the VERY BEGINNING. Who has fly fished it already? Who is planning to fly fish it? I know lakes are tough for fly fishing, but I have always heard the first years of a new Texas lake are almost mystical. I never had that chance - until now. Seems like something to NOT miss out on to me.

You've got a body of water that has been properly stocked with baby fish that have grown to maturity having never seen a lure.

Yeah, that's going to be fun!

Those numbers don't seem that big, but they do breed! Some are big babies for sure!
