I am not sure about the id on the snake. The color indicates a copperhead, but the normal copperhead hourglass pattern doesn’t appear clear on the snake. The lean body shape is also off. It is probably a copperhead, but I need more information for a confirmation. Did you get other pictures? Pictures of the belly and a clear picture of the head would help. The best confirmation would be to open the mouth and look for fangs, but I don’t recommend that unless you know what you are doing.

Yep, beat me too it. Color similar to a copperhead but lighter and different pattern. Good snake.

Corn snake fits better than copperhead, but it is not good to confuse the two. More pictures would confirm.
