Will be fishing there in 3 or so weeks. Never really liked the lake, probably because of the trees and boat lane headaches. Anyway, will be sort of mid lake area, any thoughts on area's to consider? Open or protected? Will probably trailer just to avoid running lanes and fuel burn, etc.

Iā€™d tie on a big Spinnerbait and roll th cypress trees. The north end has a lot less douchbags fishing it!
