Bring it on! I'm angry with my homeowners insurance company and they can buy me a new roof dammit!! Hope it's not Allstate. A tornado could suck the roof off of your house and they'd find a way to weasel out of paying. Had them for almost 30 years until 2 years ago when I switched to USAA. They were great on the one water claim but sucks when considering the roof. Agent called me yesterday wanting my business back. Funny (not really) that he mentioned my new roof (which I paid out of my pocket for). Gave me an interesting quote...but I just can't.

Anyone know if the Meadowbrook area on the east side of Fort Worth received any? please no there is no damage that would warrant replacing that roof

most of the hail around DFW will not be detrimental to the integrity of your roof these shingles can withstand a lot
but if you want a new roof that you dont really need i gaurantee i can get you 1

Sirens went off. We're all in the basement. Would of never guessed a home in White Settlemant had a basement.

Got bad in Mt Pleasant. Trees on cars, trees on houses. Don’t know how much rain we got. We live out towards Lake Welsh and haven’t had power since around 5pm. Nobody in this area has any.

We were at a sporting clay shoot in south Fort Worth at Alpine when it hit, had 26 teams out on the course scramble back to the pavilion dodging lightening bolts and quarter size hail, popped a top at 11, had a blast and luckily no one got hurt

I didn't get any hail that I know of but I had constant lightening for several hours . First time I was glad that my Siberian ( terrified of storms ) passed away in December . He'd a had a heart attack last night .

I remember those days when I was growing up in NE Kansas. One storm hit Topeka hard and then pretty much stayed on the ground all the way up to Leavenworth. I was outside in it, like an idiot, because I knew the casements around the basement window would fill up with water and I'd be having to clean that stuff up in the AM, after it leaked through.
We drove through that area hit in Topeka about a couple of weeks later and you could see the storm's trail, going from SW to NE, was a swath of destroyed house about 4 blocks wide. Felt bad for those folks.
Now, out here in western Val Verde County, I get excited by a few tenths of an inch of rain.
