And got a high 3rd round pick out of it....they're good at this part...

Now, I would have tried to trade Parsons....trading Parsons would solve virtually every hurdle they are facing. Draft picks to do anything they want, money to make Lamb happy....could pick best OT, best WR, best RB, probably have 3rd and 5th round extra picks to get quality LB, more O line depth...it would just be easy....Dak plays the season...if he catches lightning in a bottle, cool....if not, Trey Lance is sitting there to take over a LOADED team

Could woulda shoulda, how do you know where they had the tackle ranked ? Most in the football world feel like they got an A on that deal.

Get off the idea of trading Parsons, that would be a huge mistake, pass rushers like him do not come along very often.

They are not going to now man....but 2 #1's, a #3, a #5 and a starting RB would not be a crazy ask.... you can rebuild everything with that kind of trade....and I don't care what he does, it's not worth 30 million a year...nope

I hear ya..... but I really think they think they've got something with Lance...

I'm happy with the trade and draft Guyton + a 3rd.....

Very interested to see what they do from here..... plus last year's class didn't perform all that well, hopefully they'll show something in year 2.... if they hit on 2 or 3 this year and last year's crew matures into something, and Lance turns into the qb San Fran thought he was.... man, this could be a simple transition.... but that's a lotta' frigging "if's"....I do think that pretty much summarizes the JJ "plan"...

Only way i am trading Parsons is for a chance at drafting a franchise QB, and that would be a big gamble because everyone knows that the number 1 pick always hits.

I like to think the Cowboys war room knows more than the TFF and I. I'm not a band wagon jumper jumping to the Texans f the Texans if anything Jerry going to balance the check book and get Shanndoah Sanders next year and trade Lance this tomorrow for some picks.

You mean the kind that get 1 sack in 4 playoff games? Dallas should have at least found out what trading Parsons would fetch. Instead they are facing paying three players at or near the highest paid at their positions.....to be bounced in wild card games at home. Parsons, Dak and Lamb will eat up so much of the cap that there won't be much left to help them. And Dak needs all the help he can get.

Yes Dak needs lots of help, defense being maybe the biggest, this has been said many times, Dak has to have a great running game and a great defense to win a SB, trading away the top 1 or 2 defensive player in the NFL for unknown commodities makes no sense to me. Parsons has not had a really good game in the play offs, I would imagine he was being accounted for by two and maybe three blockers a lot of the time, you would think the other Dallas defenders would step up in these situations, they cannot all be double teamed. I would give Parsons, Dak and an entire draft class to the Chiefs for Mahomes, think they will bite ?

I was really proud of Parsons leadership on the defensive side of the ball against green Bay when the packers scored over, and over, again and again and again...... he really brought it.
