So I just got my FFL and SOT in the past couple weeks. As I've said from time to time on here, I keep having estate planning & probate clients turn up with NFA firearms, or just larger collections of ordinary firearms. So it made sense to get licensed so I can handle the transfers and sales.
But good lord, I didn't realize how many people and companies are out there to pounce on new FFL's ... daily I get calls along the lines of "we mailed you your FFL starter kit so you can get your credit card processing through us" or other such baloney.
