Love these reels! I bought one on ebay and the gear side sideplate is marked Bantam 200 but the non-gear side sideplate is marked Bantam 100. Any idea how I know for sure which one I have? Also, what is the difference between them? They look identical to me.

I have several of these in Rt. and Lt. handed models. Mine are CU-200 BSF. They are only marked on the case just back of the reel handle. I think the difference is the spool size. But that is just a guess on my part. I would go with the marking that are by the handle, as that is much harder to replace as opposed to the removable side cover. JMHO

The model Iām referring to is a late 1970ās/early 1980ās reel, not the bantam curado cu-200 although those are grear reels!
