Had a great trip with Todd Froebe on Monday, 4/22. The rains from the previous weekend raised the lake level by about a foot or so. We chased floaters or roamers as Todd calls them. It was fun searching, locating, and tossing a jig out to them. We fished actively and the action was good. Todd is a pro and I learned so much from watching and listening to how to get the bait out to the fish. Then enticing the fish to bite, well that is a tricky task. Started slow, got better, slowed down again, and ended the day on a good bite. It’s very rewarding when you get it all right and the fish bites. We caught a mess of them. Shot a few docks too. That was another new experience for me and really fun way to fish. Many thanks for the trip! Homero fried them up for the whole shop on Friday and man they were goood!

I guess I'm confuse. What is meant by chasing floaters?

Fish sitting in open water not relating to structure. Usually solitary fish by themselves
