I will NOT drive behind those. Makes me nervous.

After some of the things I've seen during nearly forty years as a cop I hate driving next to any tractor-semitrailer rig. On any road. At any time.

Butch I don't think he is right about this. you can blow the picture up and see some chains going from the something with blinders chain to, them on the right you can see a chain attached to something different. I bet these pieces have something on the trailer they bolt to and then chain to that. There is absolutely no way they attempted to take this down the highway not chained to the trailer anywhere. That ludicrous. The trucking company and insurance company would not even considered that. This long loads are bound down differently because the trailers under them have to turn independently or one another and most of these super long trailers are computer operated from the cab of the truck bluetooth. A lot of these trailors are a million plus to buy along with a 250,000 to 400,000 in the truck no way they gamble on ever moving this without it being tied down.

Blow it up and show me something tied to the trailer, 921. Here’s the other shipping steel saddle. They don’t ever attach to the trailer.

What kind of truck do you need to pull 350,000 lbs? One or multiple?

RJ lets agree to disagree. I have log close to a million miles in years past and have actuality turn loads down I didn't think were safe. A load like this is very expensive to get hauled and there is no way they just set it on a million dollar trailer and let them drive off with it. I made my comment base off of already blowing it up.

And yes they do built trailer mounts for different loads to attach to those. The blades on wind generators they bolt them to the front of a trailer mount.

You surely don't think they just set millions of dollars of a load to a trailer without being chained down on a 1.5 million dollar truck and trailer. That is ludicrously
I don't know what happen I do know the driver is responsible for the load and keeping it upright

one with big HP and lots of gears. My son drives one. He mainly pulls big gas compressors for gas field. He has hauled loads of 275-375 thousand pounds about 80,000 is trailer and truck.

most are 5 axle trucks, heavy haul trucks

Regular tractor that has the governor turned up. It's not the total weight but how much weight per axle.

This is a heavy haul truck

No where near regular truck regular truck cannot axle out weight
You would either have to much on steering axle or not enough on truck axle

100% there is nothing here attached to the trailer, it’s all chained to the shipping steel. [Linked Image]

Two steer, 12 drive, and all the trailer. It'll scale out just fine. Nothing remarkable about the engine except being turned up with enough gears to pull the butthole off an elephant.

The heaviest I've been was 123,000. Freightliner, Detroit engine backed by an automatic. You could hear the drive axles creak. Swearing the air bags were gonna pop. No idea what weight was on the steers. No idea on the drives.

Then again, You can't scale a bull hauler. It is what it is. Driving an 100 miles to avoid the DOT scales.

Imagine what the permit cost to drag that cylinder looking thing. Oh Boy are people in trouble. Wrongful death lawsuits. I'd be surprised if the transport company makes it out this in one piece.

I can’t believe it would leave the yard not attached to the trailer- multiple people would’ve been involved in a walk around.
