Texas should make it legal. No protesters in Texas. That'll fix it.
In the past protest was embraced as an important practice in a free society. Something is changing. yes something did change... when dems started paying for people to protest...

Travis County Attorney Delia Garza released all 57 jailed last week and will probably do the same here..... Good ol' catch and release. They'll head back to the protest. We can look at the border and see how effective catch and release is at tackling that problem, in other words catch and release policies do nothing to solve whatever illegal activity is going on.

Any of the protestors that are not students should be subject to much harsher punishments.

Any of the protestors that are not students should be subject to much harsher punishments. Any violent protesters, or any that attack the cops should get the same treatment the Capitol protesters received.

The problem is not protest. Protest is a necessary component of democracy. The problem is that too many people have come to believe that protesters are entitled to violate any laws they choose in the name of protest. When politicians and media encourage the steadily growing number of idiots who haven't learned to think for themselves to violate laws, and violate other peoples' rights, all in the name of whatever cause the protesters are supporting, those politicians and the media are complicit in the violations. Those politicians, and the media, should be held accountable along with the protesters.

Most of these moron protesters likely have no idea what they are protesting. Exactly. They are the disciples of the liberal education system that has grown stronger for decades in this country, but probably don't have a clue why they are out there. This war with hamas and Israel has been going on for many months now. Does anybody else think it's odd that all of a sudden, on almost the same days, these protests have started on college campuses all over the country (not just in Austin), and the LEOs are finding that many, if not most, of those arrested don't have any association with the schools. Can you say, Carefully Orchestrated Protests By Outsiders, who know these kids will easily follow their lead. Just edited this part in: And we will be told that these are peaceful protests by people who are just exercising their Constitutional right. I just saw a news story, with video, of the peaceful protestors in NY at Columbia who broke down doors and broke out windows to occupy the admin building at that school. Remember the peaceful marches several years ago about the George Floyd deal where pallets of bricks were carefully staged along the protest routes for those peaceful folks to use?

Family is everything! Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

In the past protest was embraced as an important practice in a free society. Something is changing. Peaceful protest was embraced and legal. You libs have redefined the word peaceful to include everything that except for murder. That is the problem. Do you have any friends? I’ll bet fishing alone gets old for you!

This is Texas and another situation. As long as its peaceful they should be allowed to protest. If the University tells them to leave, which it appears they did, they should move. Government should bend to peaceful protest a little. That is not to say that they should let them break laws or block access.
