Caught a lot of crappie out of a boat just like that one. It's guaranteed to catch fish.

Brother in law had a Skeeter Metro, stick, way back in the day. 50 hp Johnson. He could power slide that thing around corners. Really fun boat.

Those old two strokes are dang near indestructible. It’ll be really easy to work on, hopefully you can still get parts.

My brother in law has a boat just like that. Has a spider rig on the front, and you can forget about catching a crappie from the back seat. I’d like a boat just like that.
And as a teen, I water skied a zillion miles behind a 40 horse Johnson.

It is a great boat had it on Fork , Toledo Bend and even Falcon and a lot of lakes in between . Was thinking buying a Lowe's and figured re motor and put it back on the water would make me just as happy will update the electronics and trolling motor . It will be perfect for Lake B'ois Arc.

Hard to beat those old Johnson stick steers. I had a 1976 6hp that was bulletproof. When I no longer needed it I let Steve sell on consignment at his shop. I don't think it was there a week.

Those were good solid boats. Made a few like that in North Little Rock when I was working my way through college. The glass layup was way to heavy heavy which made them almost impossible to punch a hole in. You could ding them, scratch the hell out of them but it was almost impossible to sink them.

My first boat was a stick steer as well. The live well was located between the front and back seats. In 1976, I towed it from Lubbock to Lake Amistad. Launched it and got about 20 yards from the ramp when the motor seized up. How to load it back on the trailer and drive back to Lubbock.
He is truly a sick individual.

My wifes granddad had a Skeeter just like that. I fished with him a ton. every time I see a stick steer it reminds me of him. It's a fishing boat not a run up and down the lake boat. I loved it because they"re deep, no deck and roomy. Great for crappie and bream fishing!!

that looks exactly like the boat my granddad had. we spent many days fishing the rocks up and down the Twok dam.

I had a 16’ polarcraft with that same color scheme. Had a 25 mercury on it. Wish i would have never sold it. Cool boat btw.
