45 states. Except California and those tiny states up at the tip of the north east.
It's a higher stress job then you'd think. Sometimes it's a extreme pain.
I don't regret a minute of it.

Two young men from Gatesville were killed in the accident. No information on how they were involved., TEMPLE, Texas (FOX 44) – UPDATE: Two of the victims in the fatal accident in Temple last weekend have been identified. The Temple Police Department has identified 22-year-old Abigail Boatwright and 17-year-old Evan Boatwright, both of Gatesville, as the victims killed in the accident.23 hours ago

Many driving Hwy 36 are young guys driving recklessly, not saying the those in the wreck were but many do.

Just had 2 of these type of loads drive by............both had multiple chains coming off each of the shipping steel supports and attached to the trailer. Also saw chains coming off the load where one could be attached.
definitely looked rigged different than the one that fell off.
Somebody learned something.

Oversized loads are common. Most require escort cars in front and back. Some have 3. Lots of variables come into play. Did the trailer break down from the weight ? Did the chains come loose if they were using chains. Straps were probably not used due to the weight. Loads that size normally have a specialized trailer or platform made by the manufacturer. The load could have shifted in a turn. 35 splits in Temple going S, their is a pretty sharp curve at that split . I feel bad for all involved. Lots of lives were affected by this. No this wreck was at 317 and 36 know it well.

Drove by the site yesterday. It went thru the guard rail on the right side into a sloping ditch. Was on a straightaway just after a bridge and the merge lane Hard to guess what happened. Would be interesting if they would report more details.

Somebody learned something. I learned not to go off half cocked without understanding exactly what the set up was on the two trailers. Thanks to those who just let me be an idiot without saying it straight out.

As a juror I'm siding with RJ. If it was strapped to the trailer properly it would either not roll off to begin with or option 2. It would have flipped the whole trailer. Case closed pay the victim, pay the manufacturer, file for bankruptcy and your insurance just hit the moon. this may be the dumbest post you ever posted what part of the state police escort this loads did you not get. You have no idea what you are talking about you should stick to buring grease. What part do you disagree with..... if it was properly strapped it would still be on the trailer. Did he slam the brakes, doing a mini jack knife with all that weight pushing forward? The rear weight had to go somewhere. Enough to snap the chains. If it was that violent of an event.
Was the driver trying to avoid something? Did something happen with the escort? Did some other car try to squeeze in between them? Was it a dog? Special Agent 921 will be along shortly already answer this
