My favorite lake is 8 foot up, releasing water and most of the access points gates are closed. Going out to Pat Cleburne for a short fishing fix and maybe catch some bait.

Your area has certainly been hit harder than most. North central Texas has had a good amount, but central and south Texas could use more. Let us know how you do at Pat.

I'm ready for the wind to die down a bit too. I don't mind chop, but I love those calm water days.

All my lakes are way up and not releasing because of flooding downstream. I'm going anyway!

The private ramp on Bwo side of Alvarado lake was flooded good. You had to wade out to get to the dock and it was under water too. Watched a guy put his jet ski in the parking lot 🤣

We definitely need rain in south Texas. Choke canyon is -29 FT. Most of the ramps are shut down -- lots of stumps and under water obstacles are eating props and lower units.

They closed Copperas Branch Ramp and Pilot Knoll ramp on Lewisville, even though the ramps are still usable. Even closed the boat house parking lot on Highland Village road. People are removing the barricades and going down to fish anyways. [Linked Image]

I wish we could move some of the rain down south. Texoma has been releasing over 25,000 cfs for days. Whitney is 8.5 feet high. And more rain on the way.

Lake Waco is at 120% right now, so I feel your pain man. Can't even get into any of the parks around

I read today the Lake Grapevine is 10 foot high and a lot of parks and boat ramps have closed.
