Heads up, Brown County residents: Due to heavy rain and flooding, US-183 from Early to the Brown/Eastland County border as well as FM 583 just north of May have been closed by TxDOT. We advise against travel at this time but if you have to go out, please check drivetexas.org before you venture out!

Lots of flooding with SE TX and CenTex just west of Waco pretty hard hit: Drive Texas

We lodged E of Stephenville W of Granbury last night. Rained hard and steady for over 5 hours. No hail though.
