U2 and the Alarm, Bronco Bowl in Dallas, 1982.

REM, Moody Coliseum on the SMU campus, 1987

The Psychedelic Furs and Talk Talk, Bronco Bowl, 1984

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Club Clearview in Dallas, around 1991 or so?

Van Halen on the Diver Down tour, Reunion Arena, maybe '83 or 84?

I'm sure I'm missing something.

Addendum: I do remember that U2 and The Alarm was the best show ever!!!

...?

Man I don’t know. I get it, but I don’t know if I could commit to stating that Marshall Tucker music is better.

Some of those King, Gaines, Rossington, Collins guitar parts in various songs are genius. I think Skynyrd may suffer from song-overplay on radio, bars, live bands…etc.

I’m gonna call it a draw…just based on strength of guitar parts.

Two completely different sounds. Both are equally great.

Well, yeah. One is country. The other is blues. roflmao

Woah!!

MTB’s best five might be better than Skynyrd’s best five…but if you consider their entire catalogs; Skynyrd edges out.

Agree. Skynyrd is better overall, but the mainstream stuff is overplayed. Marshall Tucker has a much smaller overall catalog but what they have packs a punch.

You?

I've only been to 3 concerts in my nearly 60 years of hearing and sometimes listening, so guess I can't vote.

Westside is an excellent problem solver. He works hard to ensure we can all be included. thumb
