Sure, why not? It might be a little slippery depending on what exactly you use.

There’s a special type of marine vinyl that pontoons have now. It’s textured and non-slip. A neighbor wants it and he’s older. I’m just trying to help him out.

You literally only need a tape measure, a steady hand, and a really sharp pair of scissors. I’m doing a Bayliner right now. Got about $30 worth of “sea deck” knockoff. (6 rolls of 4’x8’@$5 a roll). Don’t pay thousands. Buy it yourself and spend a day of your time. Clean the surface with acetone before you stick it down. It’s about a 3 outta 10 on difficulty. The hardest part is climbing in and out of the boat all day. This boat came in for a “fish finder” installation. So far I have had to rewire the batteries that were installed at a “mechanic shop”, because everything was getting 24volts. It burned up the JLAudio radio and possibly the fuel pump. I fixed that. The original depth finder works great with 12 volts, but they got a new one now anyway. The subwoofer enclosure got wet, so I built a new one out of Baltic birch and rhinolined it. I had the flooring and showed him what it looked like….he said “do it”.

Steez where did you find it that cheap? Yes. Where? Auction site in North Dallas. Off of harry hines. They always have it. They must have pallets and pallets of it. Minimum bid is $5 a roll. I’ve never had to bid more than the minimum to win the roll. They have several different patterns and colors.

Lotsofauctions.com Be mindful of which location you’re bidding on items at. They are in Dallas and Denton.
