Afternoon West Coast game. I hate the late-night ones.
First Pitch 2:27 p.m. TV Bally's Sports Southwest
Pitching for Texas today will be Jose Urena (0-2, 4.35 ERA) going against Oakland's Ross Stripling (1-5, 4.24 ERA). Urena is new to the Rangers this year but he has 11 seasons in the majors, with 143 big league starts (39-71). He's made 10 appearances for Texas this season, all in relief. This Stripling's 10th season in the bigs (39-48)

The hits are falling today. Top of the 2nd and Rangers lead 2-0 with runners on 1st and 2nd, no outs. Semien up again. Before I can post he singles and it's 3-0, 1st and 2nd no outs.
