My wife treats me like a god. I get at least 1 burnt offering each day.

Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

our standing house rule is if you cook or help cook / set the table. You don't have to clean up afterwards. I actually do 90% of the cooking at my house.

So I’ve been the main cook most of our 36 years-
I bought the groceries also-
My wife is wonderful and checks all my boxes, but bless her heart she just never liked cooking-
She would do it but it was a chore, glad everything else wasn't that way lol-
This past year there has been a lot of take out meals-
But over the last few months I regained the ability to cook about 75% of what I cooked before-
She does the cleaning though-

Just figuring things out again, and grateful to have the opportunity-

I’m a bachelor so if don’t fit in the air fryer or microwave I don’t need it.

We pretty much share the load. We're doing fajitas for Mother's Day. I'll do the fajitas outside, and she'll do everything else inside. Then we both clean up. That sort of thing.

Man I love your outlook. I joke with my grandson. He was born with Spina Bifada. Life in a chair. Humor is our way of coping.

When we were first married my wife couldn't cook boiled water. She started watching food network though, and now she is practically gourmet. I cook some too, but she is really awesome.

I have the best wife! She cooks all the meals including BBQ/ grilling. I'm not talking about a gas or charcoal grill either. She builds her own mesquite fires. We've been married 33 years, have 3 grown children and I have never changed a diaper or fixed a bottle. She cleans our house and the 5 other houses on the ranch. She works right along with me on the ranch and can out work alot of men I know. I have been blessed with the perfect partner

I’m glad you guys “get it”
There are tons of others that wish they were only affected by my issues-
Being a quad sucks, no way around that-
But I do like being grateful now for every stinking day!
I wasn’t like this before my bodywork, i feel like I was just going through the motions-
I don’t post everything of course, but I’m living a great life-

I truly wish everyone could feel as alive as I do right now everyday -

Steve, you have been blessed with perspective. Most men don't have the strength to push forward the way you have. And now you are sharing that blessing with us here, and no doubt with each and every person you see every day.

I think I can speak for everyone here... we are sorry for what you have suffered, yet we are grateful for what you can now share with us. Rock on brother!
