Dropping water levels at Falcon have pulled the fish out of the jungle that was flooded when Amistad was lowered a few months ago.

And areas where you couldn't buy a bite a month ago are loaded with fish. Most fish are from ten to fifteen inches long, but there are a good number of three to six pound fish mixed in. Of course you always have a shot at a giant, but I have not heard of many lately.

Right now it is very common to catch forty or fifty fish a day. Some folks have done better.. Some worse.. But it is common to land on a pile of them.

There are also white bass on every windy point from Tigers south.

RIGHT NOW Falcon can be your slumpbuster..

Nobody on the lake midweek.. FWIW.

Water continues to drop.. Sux..

We are no longer launching at the butterfly ramp at state park.. It's back out to the point out past the canal at the concrete boat ramp.. Doable but not preferred..

But the fish are still chomping.. Lots of little fish with a few gooduns mixed in..

Call me if you have questions..
