There's crappie under the 380 bridge in Bridgeport.

Take a float tube and catch you some dinner on the way there and back. You can also use them to try to talk your way out of a ticket. wink

What day and time?

I can stand on the side of the road and flash you when you go by.

Met that guy on more than one occasion.

I never speed, but that guy got me…they like to get all the deer hunters driving back from deer lease on Sunday afternoon…

The steakhouse at Wildcatter Ranch does a pretty mean ribeye for dinner.

Hey look the speed limit at Runaway Bay is 55 but really it is 50/52. I know the young man that used to be there and worked with his Dad. He said that the boy once gave him a warning for making a u-turn on 380

Efff that guy.

Life is full of U turns when performed safely and not crossing a double yellow.

Meh…I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there. Not to mention the road past the cattle guard may be one of the worst in Texas.

I second the Wildcatter, the road isn't that bad and the view from the patio makes the drive worth it.

Great town and great people. I'd like to live there amongst that community for sure.

That road sucks. It is short but I have been on smoother lease roads rutted out after a rain. You would think they would fix it since it services their lodge and restaurant. Last time we were there a couple of months ago they had three people working in the steakhouse. Service was slow and food was mediocre at best. They seem to always be out of baked potatoes and their steaks have enough strong mesquite smoke flavor for a whole cow. I honestly don’t know how they do that. If you like that then fine but some folks can’t handle it. Our server was also the dish washer that night and he left us sitting there waiting on a check for quite some time. I had to go to the kitchen myself to find him. It is OK at best if you just want to go there. Neat place just inconsistent.
