We cook most things we like, steaks, fish, chicken, etc…at home and save our nights out eating things like Thai, sushi, Indian. Eating in saves a ton of money. Also, paying for delivery like Uber eats or grub hub tends to be very expensive for what you really get.

Cooking two meals seven days a week can suck.

Some days, I do not want to cook. I want a break.

So it's either sandwiches or take out.

Whataburger is her weakness. I can, "suggest" it with repeated results. Being honest, it's nasty. Enough to make you get back in there and make a meal worth it.

Lemon pepper chicken is coming up. Not tonight but soon. It's a complex meal to make. Lots of ingredients and steps. But worth it.

Disagree.

Imagine its a unique cuisine. Maybe its a dish that requires 18 different spices to make it just right. You do not have any of those spices. Cant buy just a pinch of each one. Or a little bit of each ingredient. Heck you may not be able to find it.

In this case, cheaper to eat out. Trust me!

Now if you are talking about just something to eat? Sure. Most are cheaper. A nice steak, some pasta, burgers, breakfast, etc. no doubt thats cheaper at home.

That’s fair.

Tipping culture alone makes me not want to eat out. It`s gotten ridiculous. We get fast food about once a week and never get drinks. That`s a huge rip off and nothing but sugar calories. Usually runs right at 20 bucks for the 2 of us. Most meals we eat at home for 2 cost 10 bucks or less. We rarely eat steaks anymore. Overrated and cost too much. I ate enough 1.99 lb. ribeye's for 2 lifetimes when I managed a meat market anyways. Burned out on them. Brisket, chicken breast, pulled pork (pork butts), shrimp, ground brisket HB meat and pork chops are the meats we eat most nights. All of those meats can be bought on sale weekly and never pay regular price.
