I found a Lews 6 ft. fiberglass and 2 6 ft. Shakespeare Boron pistol grip in a rod tube. I put a 1500c on the Shakespeare with a H&H spinnerbait and caught a nice bass on the 1st cast in my pond. I'm going to put it in my boat. I caught a 10 1/2 lb bass in 1972 on the Lews. I thought the rods were long gone.

My NRX+854's probably get more use than all the rest of my rods, Probably why I have 4 of them

Had to use my net for that one day. Dang thing wrapped up around one of my power poles and laid out on the back deck. Would leave so I turned him into gar bait.
As for the 854’s the lakes by me are thick with cedar. Minimal 20# fluro or 40# braid if you want to flip in it. I keep one rigged with a worm, one with a creature bait and one as a heavy dropshot. 4th one is usually t rigged too as backup

My favorite is what I have in my hand in the moment snatching hogs out the water. If I had to pick, it would be the Daiwa Tatula Elite Brett Ehler Multi-purpose. I have 3 of these and they do most of my work.

whatever bait is catching them, but i exclusively use BPS rods and reels. The new carbon lite rods are very nice.

My favorite setup to have in my hands is my 7' Falcon Lowrider MH/Mod with a Revo SX HS chunking a chatterbait.

That depends on what the fish are biting best at the time.
