Anyone know of any? I’m not having real good luck finding them. I’m back here every couple weeks for a while. TIA.

Maybe 92.5FM? I usually listen to classic vinyl on Sirius but listened to 92.5 before that....

KZPS will always come to mind with classic rock on the radio. But yeah, 92.5 is the go-to for that genre. Personally, I use Spotify and curate my own music collection. AM/FM radio can suck my left... over ice cubes.

Thanks guys. I’m an old and old school. not up on all the non-traditional ways to get music in your vehicle. But maybe someday I will learn it. Probably not. KZEW was pretty good when I lived here and 102.5 I think it was. Those are long gone of course.

Get caught up to this decade(not intended to be a put down!) & subscribe to the 100's of options through your phone. Spotify, Iheart Radio, AccuRaido etc..etc.... This way you are not at the mercy of whatever the local radio wants to play, you want a song or 70's classic rock, just type it in and it plays. I haven't used my truck radio in 5+ years & instantly listen to whatever I want, when I want.

Thank you pacertom. I will get my daughter or SIL to help me get set up with one of those. I did not know of such things. Or if I did, I have forgot about them. Appreciate the suggestions.

KZEW was pretty good when I lived here and 102.5 I think it was. Those are long gone of course. It was Q102.1. They had a great morning show with Bo & Jim. That format was cancelled and it was turned into an alternative station called "The Edge." 92.5 is now that local classic rock station called Lonestar 92.5. The "Jim" from the Bo & Jim show retired a year or two ago, but Bo Roberts is still on and still has the 80's mentality and jokes. Bo Roberts, with all due respect, you need to hang it up and fade away. You aint funny anymore. You had an AMAZING career and we all love you, but yeah, way past time to hang it up, sir. As mentioned above, sadly, it's time to learn a new trick and check out alternatives to terrestrial radio. I can't stand commercials and now listen to YouTube music or podcasts and audio books. The heyday of radio over the airwaves is only hanging on by a thread.

Well thanks to all you guys. Obviously my memories are a bit out of whack on the 2 Dallas stations I listened to for lots of years living in Mesquite. This new way sounds like a plan with the Spotify thing or similar. You know what’s crazy? There’s a station in Monahans of all places - KBAT that comes in pretty good where I roam around Big Spring and it’s some darn good old school classic rock. Go figure I guess.

92.5 is the same 100 burned out songs on endless rotation and I've heard them all probably thousands of times. Can't listen to a second anymore.
You are not a good or nice person.

What? You don't like the Jelly Roll, 'Need A Favor' song after every other third song?

This is the reason I’m so happy for 10 programmable stations on the truck radio. KKXT 91.7 is my go too. 88.5 Mesquite School is not bad. Then I flip, 99.5, 96.3, 100.3, etc…all the way up the dial to 107.9 just to get the Tejano rolling.
Keep looking forward. That’s why windshields are larger than rear view mirrors.
