Educate me on slip corks. Size cork, hook, etc. I have been doing pretty good on jugs the last couple weeks and ready to reel fish now.

Educate me on slip corks. Size cork, hook, etc. I have been doing pretty good on jugs the last couple weeks and ready to reel fish now. Zero need for a slip bobber right now. Size 2 or 1 baitholder hook, a peg bobber, 6-8 lb test, and a piece of cut bait (Shad preferably) or minnows will get it done better than anything right now.

Easy limit today. Boat against the reeds in coves. Toss out some range cubes and sour maize about three feet deep, Stubbys Cheese bait under a bobber about 3 feet deep. Action is too fast to fish more than one rod. That cheese bait is fantastic.
