Sawhorse was a 3 time All-American at Iowa, I’m serious. You should pm him and see if they can get a little mat time together. I know he had a pretty prestigious camp at one time, before he started playing music for a living. Sure man, I never grappled JV, but I could probably dial my skills back enough to mix it up with the youngster. I think Ratz should set this up as a competitive match at the next TFF G2G. Maybe the Keller Icehouse in that back room area. If we do some wagering sounds like I could lighten 1Shot’s wallet by a mallard or two. I just meant you might work with him some, but I guess you never lose that competitive fire. Dial it back a little,Hulk Hogan.

Awesome and congrats Spags. Believe it or not those kids take a liking to a coach and will have a confidante for years. I still have 50 something year old “kids” I coached in the late 80’s that call me. That’s great for your son‼️‼️

His best friend is head coach there and they wrestled 4 years together at OU. If it was in the cards for me to make a move, I would move there in a min.

Glad to see wrestling is a thing in Texas. It's big in Oklahoma. Congratulations to an outstanding young man!

We were taken into the wrestling gym (under Carver-Hawkeye arena) during my daughter’s visit, it was the smelliest place I’ve ever been in But you are correct, big 10 is big time wrestling

out of the 55 national titles we have, 34 are in Wrestling.
Gallagher-Iba Arena, also known as "The Rowdiest Arena in the Country" and "The Madison Square Garden of the Plains”,[3] is the basketball and wrestling venue at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States. Originally completed in 1938 and named the 4-H Club and Student Activities Building, it was soon renamed Gallagher Hall to honor wrestling coach Ed Gallagher. After renovations in 1987, the name became Gallagher-Iba Arena, as a tribute to longtime basketball coach and innovator Henry Iba.

There is national tournament Saturday June 15th at Dallas Market hall. Kids, all the way up to College and adult classes. Folk style, freestyle, Greco. My son and daughter will both be wrestling. It should be interesting, they will both be WAY in over their heads on this one.
