There's plenty of sandbass in the Vine to go around a few times over. And this year should be a banner year if we can maintain some decent water levels.

Just don't expect this type of information on the crappie.

Besides the fact I don't have any.....well...that's really the only reason.

I caught a 14" & a 15" sandie on accident with a 1/2oz rattle trap today in twin coves while bass fishing (they were busting a pretty good sized school of shad along w/ a lot of spots & a few LMB's - ended up catching about 20 spots & 10 lmb's out of the 1 place - lots of small fish, but a few cracked the 2 lb mark).

Not gonna say the exact spot, but it was a wind blown point. (not too tough to figure out & the birds also helped in revieling the baitfish)

Those were the 1st sandies for me this year in the Twin Coves area. They were both pretty fat & I was happy to see that the sandies are starting to "move" down the lake.

Another way, just like the birds, is to follow the boats.
