 Grapevine 5/31 Bass and Catfish action

Hit up the Vine a little later today. Got to the lake about 5:30 pm. The wind was in full effect. My main intention was to get some kitties. Headed toward the bubbles to get bait. Saw a couple of gentlemen, they said it was dink city, I wanted no part of that. Hooked up one big blue and a very nice bass. Caught some channel cats in between. I thought I had hooked a very nice blue cat, then that sucker jumped. Best bass I have caught out of Grapevine. Good times.  Both fish were not harmed during the photo shoot, only released to the grease!  Just kidding, was going to keep the cat, decided I did not want to clean fish today, both were released.

great fish! I caught a couple sandies and lmb the other day. Good to get back out there!
