Because it was foul hooked, it was like reeling in a log. I was thinking...caught one...nope, hung up...no, it's a fish, no I'm hung up...no it wrapped me around something...I finally got it to the surface to see that it wasn't green like the state record LMB that I had thought. It was fun, and a good memory because it was not expected.
Today on Fork, I caught a 6 lb bass with a finesse worm and a soft crawdad bait with the hook still in its gullet. That is a good story too, it broke two people off recently and still bit my rattlesnake with two baits stuck in her mouth. Not a bad trip at all.

When I first saw the pic, I thought closer to 30# myself, but it's hard to compare.
