between FM 1024 and SR 163. Lots and lots of smoke, visibility in Del Rio this AM was no more than maybe 2 miles. It cleared at mid-day, but by evening the smoke was real thick again. Driving west on 90 it was almost impossible to see the north shore of the lake in the arm that goes to Evans Creek.

Point is, if you are planning a trip to the Devil's the next few days, ya might wanna call ahead. Right now, there are very low humidities and pretty hot temps, both accompanied by 20 mph plus winds. Wind is supposed to shift to the east tomorrow and by afternoon back to the southeast at 15 to 20 mph.

If I find out anything pertinent, I'll post again. Just a heads up.
