Met BigDad at the Tira ramp a little after 7:00 this am for a quick trip. First of all the water in that cove is about 2 feet deep or less.. the park ranger said if not rain soon, they will close that ramp as well! Fishing was pretty good, big sand bass on plastics and Flies-By-Night flies and slabs. Only one hybrid I have never seen that lake so low, they say 9 1/2 feet low, I bet it's lower than that! If you go be very careful!

Hey Don, my phone was working also, and it never rang...sounds like the lake is getting too low. Darn, I wanted to do a camping trip out there.

Don & Bob.. I am sure your phones were working just fine! Joe was camping over the weekend and needed help catching fish for a fish fry they were having Saturday night.Caught some very nice whites, but only one hybrid. Fish were moving around pretty fast. As far as camping anytime soon. The Sulfur ramp is closed, Doctor's was open but I sure would check before you go.. We found a few places out in the middle that were only a few feet deep. Those should be 15-18 foot humps!
