I'll admit, I haven't been on Ray Hubbard in a while. I had a few hours to spare Sunday, so I hooked up the boat & headed out there. I have always used the public ramp next to Lakeside Marina NW corner of Dalrock & I30. They had it closed off with pylons in the ground. Looked permanent. Is it?

The ramp isn't usab;e due to water level so I hope it's just temporary. There are a few piles of gravel out there so hopefully the city will make some improvements this winter....I know, I can hope can't I? Like city of dallas is going to spend a dime on the lake.

I was told by the dallas PD guys that if they spent the cash to block it off they probly were not going to fix it

Parks Dept said they had to install the posts because idiots kept moving the temporary barricades and trying to launch their rigs anyway. Parks Dept has stated that it would reopen the ramp as soon as the water level comes back up.

Cool. I saw th post, & thought it was permanent. I wonder if we can get the city to asphalt the parking lot & road since there is no traffic?
