Any suggestions for fishing Dangerfield? Going next month.

Canoes, too, are unobtrusive; they don't storm the natural world or ride over it, but drift in upon it as a part of its own silence. (John Graves)

The only lake I have ever heard called Daingerfield Lake is the one at the state park. Is this the one you are referring too?

cuaght lots of bass out there. I was using worms thrown toward the bank from my canoe. There are aslo pickerel in the lake. Look like a walleye with teeth. Do not lip them. I have also had good luck with ribbet frogs skimming the surface and the pickerel seem to like the frogs if swam about a foot below the surface.Topwaters do good out there. the lake is only 85 acres. and in the mornings it is very still. it is also a very clear lake. You did not say if you would be boating it. It is a no wake lake. Bass boats do get on it but, they use a trolling motor . I have never caught catfish there, but they are out there. They just went thru a big make over and have not been out ther since. Hope this helps.

May the Good Lord bless you with a bend in your rod.
