I am new to Kayak fishing and wondered if anyone is looking for a fishing partner? None of my fishing buddies have a kayak. Any tips on rigging would also be helpful.

Welcome to yak fishin!! Everyone is very helpful on this forum & they have alot of knowledge to share. Check out the State Park lakes in Texas, I don't know what area you live in but there are several to choose from. My husband & I fish the Brazos river more than anything, we usually fish every Saturday. Sometimes we skip church on Sundays. We always find the Good Lord anytime we are outdoors fishin!!!!!! I fish several times a week in the Dallas area. I have a 12' 6" Cobra sea kayak & usually can be found on the upper end of Lake Lavon. Also hunt ducks there. I am self employed so my early week (Mon/Tue/Weds) are free & that is when I fish. Also fish & hunt the swamps in Northwest Louisiana. VcD, Shaik
