Been thinking about buying a kayak.
But now I can't decide rather to go with a canoe or a yakaboo

Yakaboo? Never heard of that. It depends on what kind of water you are going to fish. If you are going to fish small ponds then the canoe is great cause you can put more people in and carry more stuff. If you are fishing rivers then personally I would go sit on top Kayak, there is less cargo room but I personally like to travel light. Canoes in rivers work good too but are much more prone to capsizing and/or damage in rivers. This is my personal experience. Hope the info helps. Let me know if you need further clarification.

100% best advice I can give is to try them all out and see whichoneo fits your needs the best. There will be varying opinions all around, check them all out and see what works best for what you will be doing.

addendum Yakaboo was a canoe that a guy sailed solo all over the Caribbean Sea back in the early 1900's. Quite an amazing tale and a bit of history that is not well known. Worth reading I thought.
