Curious how you store your anchor when you are not using it. Do you wind the rope on a stick or around the anchor? What kind of rope do you use? Whay kind of anchor?

I leave the anchor on the kayak now, but used to wrap it around the anchor, although that might cause some rust. The rope that came w/ the anchor is nylon probably 1/4" thick. The anchor I use is a small 1lb. 4 pt folding anchor, thou I fish small rivers and when the flow is high it doesn't hold well. Hope that helps.
