Tao, HELL ya! I got a nice little ride from a 13" bass, and can only imagine what a fun ride you will have once you hook up w/ a carp! Have fun and tight lines! Oh, check out my post in Freshwater Fly Fishing. I caught all of those fish from my yak! Dosxx

I am not, or was not, a Carp fisherman until 2 weeks ago. I was in my Kayak on Lake Granbury and hooked into a huge carp. I hooked it under the tail so I was pulling this in backwards. It took me for quite a ride. I had a trout net and the fish was too big for this. After 5 minutes of some of the best fishing action it shook the hook off. Too add to the fun I was using an ultralight.
