Well after 6 months of wishing and debating,I finally purchased my first boat. It's a WS Tarpon 100 (sand). Today we went out to my favorite little community lake just east of Waco. At 45, I'm no spring chicken. Compounded also by not paddling anything in ten years, I struggled at first with balance. By the end of the day, I had a better understanding of what inital stability and secondary stability really mean. What a great little fishing platform! Oh and the fishing was pretty good too. Caught a couple keepers,a few dinks, and nice 5 pounder that that ran away from me. Then blew right me causing the boat to do an abrupt 180. good fishing everyone Russ
