One more thing folks.......

Let the Front Gate Staff know you're here for the GTG at the Pavillion and they'll wave your entry fee! That's right - you can take that money and donate it to HOW....... PAIN FREE!

Thanks to the folks at East Fork Park and the Corps of Engineers we're going to do even more good!

I'll be out in a tent, going to try for some shad in a few minutes then I'm heading to Lavon. I'll be fishing from a red pescador with a GOT decal on it smile

Hello, I'm considering the purchase of a sit on top kayak, does anyone know if there will be any Jackson models there to try out? I'm about to head that way, just curios which brands will be there. Thanks for this opportunity to try before you buy and your support to Heroes on the Water.

Canoes, too, are unobtrusive; they don't storm the natural world or ride over it, but drift in upon it as a part of its own silence. (John Graves)

Catfish,
Hope you got to demo the Jacksons that were brought by Mountain Sports.
I saw a Kilroy, Big Rig, Koosa, & a Cuda. 1 of the yaks was rigged to the max smile

My thanks go out to all of the folks who helped make this year's GTG a huge Success! We earned over $2100 for the Dallas Chapter of Heros on the Water, got to kayak, were pampered by the great cooking of Jim and Sally Dolan and Dave Potts, were treated like honored guests by the incomperable Terry Potts, listened to a cool band, got to kayak some more, and then - totally spent - we got to collapse into a heap of quivering flesh!

This was a true communtiy effort for a great cause. It was and honor to organize. I appreciate Nate and Josh trusting us with the GTG this year and letting us run with it. Also - Spiney Norman .......Bass Akwards was FUN! Thank you!

Mountain Sports, Bass Pro Shops, Cabellas, Fun-n-Sun and Mariner Sails all worked together for success of this event. My hat's off to my fellow Dallas Area Kayak shops! grin
