They started the ground work for the new Metal Building that will be put up. The skills of the guy running this are simply amazing to me. He had one machine that would snap a 10" tree like a toothpick then pull the root ball out. A one man operation he is on day 4 of this.

Next will be the forms for the concrete foundation.

Make sure you get your underground bunker installed before you drop that metal building down on top of it.

Man, we went and saw a house recently that had what appeared to be a badass shop next to it. Turned out they only poured a footing for the building to sit on and the entire interior floor was just dirt. So disappointing. Had a pond out back and everything. Shop floor + some unsettling flooring issues were deal breakers.

4" thick concrete slab. 45 x 40 with an additional 8' apron on the front.

The soil here is very sandy. They had to bring in the red clay dirt to build it up and form a good base layer. The dirt he said was from over by Lake Holbrook area.
